Nawalgarh is a beautiful town located in the district of Jhunjhunu District of Rajasthan. It is a part of Shekhawati Region – The Open Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan. It is 30 km from Sikar and 39 km from Jhunjhunu. It is globally famous for its frescoed and grand havelis. There are some of the best preserved havelis and finest frescoes in Nawalgarh and Shekhawati. Nawalgarh was founded by Thakur Nawal Singh Ji Bahadur in the year of 1737.
