The rustic village of Khuri is located around 40 kms away from the city of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, India. One of the best places to experience the magic of the Thar Desert, Khuri is visited many tourists every year.

Sand Dunes: Khuri is known for its sand dunes that attract many visitors. As the vast stretches of golden sand mesmerize the senses, visitors can also indulge in camel rides and safaris to explore the splendors of the Thar Desert. The sand dunes of Khuri also offer stunning views of the setting sun. Get closer to the local way of living with a close view of thatched straw roofs, camels, narrow streets and the local bazaar.

Getting There
By Air : Jaisalmer has an airport, which is located 5km from the city center and is well linked by air with New Delhi, Jaipur and Jodhpur. However it is managed by the Indian Air Force and is operational only from September to March. So Jodhpur airport at a distance of about 285 km is the better option.

By Rail : Jaisalmer is well connected by rail with Jodhpur as well as other major cities of India including Agra, Jaipur, New Delhi and Mumbai. Khuri village is located just 40 kms in the south west of Jaisalmer.

By Road : Jaisalmer has a good network of roads and is well connected to other cities of Rajasthan including Jaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner and major cities of India.
